Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit this website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This website is operated by Zokforce Technologie Inc. (“Zokforce”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Canada and the company behind ZokLens. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Scope
This policy covers the zoklens.com website. The ZokLens service is not available yet; when it launches, it will have its own terms of service and privacy policy.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run this website and to answer you:
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you write.
- Technical and usage data. When you visit a page, your browser automatically sends information such as your IP address, browser and device type, language, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. This data is collected by our hosting and content delivery provider and by any analytics tools we use.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser; local storage works in a similar way. We use them in these categories:
- Strictly necessary. Our content delivery provider may set cookies that protect the website, for example to detect bots and abuse. The website cannot run securely without them, so they do not require consent.
- Preferences. We remember the language you choose in your browser’s local storage, so the website opens in that language next time. It stays on your device.
- Analytics and performance. We may use analytics to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before setting these cookies, and you can withdraw it at any time. As of the date above, this website uses no analytics or advertising cookies.
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the website may not work.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your questions and requests;
- operate, secure and improve this website, including preventing fraud and abuse;
- understand how visitors use the website;
- comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights.
Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent (for example, for analytics cookies where it is required), on our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the website and in replying to you, and on the need to comply with a legal obligation.
How we share information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that act on our behalf, such as our hosting and content delivery provider (Cloudflare) and our email provider (Hostinger).
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
- Authorities, when the law, a court or a public authority requires it, or to protect rights, property or safety.
- A buyer or successor, as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Our service providers may process personal information in Canada, the United States and other countries whose laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
In Canada, we handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise your rights, email us. We may need to verify your identity before we respond.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example before we start using analytics. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
